MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Jenni Berrios graduated from Ursinus College with a BA in Photojournalism and BA in Spanish with a minor in Peace and Social Justice. Her photography began shadowing a Photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News in high school. Then created her Photojournalism major at Ursinus, where she curated classes to fit into her area of study. Since then, Berrios has worked with film and digital and a non-profit she worked with, CCATE, that introduced her to Community Engagement with art. She has also taken photography classes with a professor in Seville, Spain, Antonio Pérez.
The exhibitions of her photography have been in: Philadelphia's Mexican Consulate, Universidad de Seville, CCATE, Berman Museum, and Photolounge. She will be taking a GAP year to pursue more Community Engagement and is actively looking for Graduate Programs that fit that need. She also plans to shoot an ongoing series and do commission work in her spare time.
